Unlike fabricated channel letters which are hollow inside, a solid flat cut letter starts as a thick, heavy sheet of pure metal. Using high-pressure waterjets or advanced lasers, the exact shape of the letter is carved out of the solid block, resulting in a single, indestructible piece of signage with crisp, perfectly vertical edges and substantial physical mass.

- Tapped Blind Stud Mount (The Heavy-Duty Standard): Thick threaded studs are screwed deeply into the pre-tapped back of the letter. Installers use our precise template to drill into brick, stone, or reinforced drywall, filling the holes with construction epoxy for an immovable, permanent hold.
- Standoff Spacer Mount (For Shadow Depth): Metal spacer sleeves are slid over the heavy-duty studs before inserting them into the wall. This safely floats the heavy solid metal letter 1/2″ to 1″ off the facade, creating a bold, natural architectural drop-shadow.
- Bottom Tapped / Rail Mount: For thick letters meant to stand on a ledge or monument cap, the bottom edge is tapped and fitted with studs, allowing the letters to be bolted securely downward into the masonry.
