Shipping Questions
We know you have an opening date to hit. Here is the typical timeline:
· Production: Since everything is custom-made from scratch, precision takes time. Most illuminated signs take 8-10 business days to manufacture.
· Shipping: We use expedited air freight (DHL/FedEx/UPS), which typically takes 5-7 calendar days to arrive at your door in the USA.
Total time: Plan for about 2-3 weeks from payment to delivery. Your dedicated Project Manager will give you a specific delivery date before we start.
This is our #1 question, and the answer is: Extremely unlikely.
We don’t just put your sign in a cardboard box. We build a custom, heavy-duty wooden crate (plywood) for every large order. Inside, the sign is suspended in high-density foam to absorb shocks. We have shipped glass neon and complex channel letters halfway across the world with a damage rate of less than 1%. It’s packed like a tank.
Because we are a factory shipping directly to you, shipping costs are calculated based on the volume and weight of the crate, as well as your zip code.
The Good News: Even with the shipping cost added, your total price is usually 30-50% lower than buying from a local sign shop (who marks up both the product and the freight). We will give you an exact shipping quote upfront—no hidden fees later.
Transparency is everything. Once your sign leaves our factory floor, we will email you a tracking number (FedEx, UPS, or DHL). You can watch your sign’s journey in real-time, from our loading dock to your front porch. Your Project Manager will also keep an eye on it and update you if there are any customs delays.
We can push the manufacturing schedule slightly for simpler signs, but we never rush quality. However, we can select Priority Express Shipping (e.g., FedEx International Priority) to shave off 2-3 days from the transit time. Let us know your deadline ASAP, and we’ll calculate the fastest route.
In the rare event that a forklift driver goes rogue and your sign arrives damaged, don’t panic. All our shipments are Fully Insured.
Your protocol:
· Take photos of the damaged crate and the sign immediately.
· Email us within 5 business days of delivery.
· We will file the claim and start manufacturing your replacement immediately at no cost to you. We won’t make you wait for the insurance payout to settle first.
For most small to medium orders sent via courier (FedEx/UPS), the process is seamless “Door-to-Door.” In some cases, import duties may apply depending on your country’s laws and the order value.
· Standard: We handle the export paperwork. You may be responsible for local import tariffs (if any).
· DDP Service: For large bulk orders, we can offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping, where we handle and pay all taxes and duties upfront, so you just sign for the package. Ask us about this option!

We build signs to last. BASIS SIGN offers a 3-Year Warranty on all electrical components (LEDs, Power Supplies) and a 5-Year Warranty on structural materials against fading or natural defects. If a component fails, we ship replacements free of charge.
